Dr Anastasiia Artuyants is a Research Fellow at the University of Auckland, working in a group led by Associate Professor Cherie Blenkiron. Anastasiia has diverse interests in gynaecological health. She completed her PhD in 2021, investigating the communication between vaginal pathogens and bacteria. Anastasiia's current project investigates novel biomarkers for early detection of endometrial cancer. This study is a step forward in developing non-invasive, rapid, cost-effective assays for the accurate detection and monitoring of this disease.
