Anne Mellon is the Clinical Nurse Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology at the Hunter New England Centre for Gynaecological Cancer in Newcastle, NSW, Australia, a position she has held for the past 28 years.

Anne is passionate about the care of women with Gynaecological Cancer and as a member of many Gynaecological Cancer advisory groups she is able to provide high level expert advice to inform the promotion of best practice gynaecological cancer care and improve gynaecological cancer outcomes.

Anne is the current President and Board Chair of the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia, as well as the Co-Chair of the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation Gynaecological Oncology Network. She is also a Co-Chair of the International Gynaecologic Cancer Society Nursing Work Group.
