Dr Claire Henry is a lecturer in the Department of Surgery and Anaesthesia, University of Otago Wellington Aotearoa New Zealand. She leads the Translational Gynaecology Research Group and works closely with the gynaecology department at Wellington Hospital.

She completed her BSc and PhD at University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney Australia. She undertook a post-doctoral position in the Gynaecology Research Group at UNSW before moving to Aotearoa in 2019. Her interests span qualitative, clinical and translational research in ovarian and endometrial cancer, endometriosis and menstrual heath.
