Associate Professor Emma Allanson is a gynaecological oncologist and the Head of the Department of Gynaecological Oncology at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth, Western Australia.

She completed her gynaecological oncology fellowship in Australia, in addition to a research fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and an editorial fellowship with the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer.

She has a PhD in women's health in low and middle income countries, and her research interests are focused on the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer, and on the surveillance and survivorship needs of women with a gynaecological cancer.
