John Andrews

ANZGOG

John Andrews is the Manager for Research Programs and Pipeline at ANZGOG. In this role, John oversees the ANZGOG research portfolio from development with its members and international collaborators, through to trial operations. He has worked collaboratively with ANZGOG since 2014 and has co-authored several publications in that time, both for ANZGOG clinical trials as well as publications related to clinical trials conduct and their impact both in Australia and abroad.  

John is the current Chair of the Harmonisation Operations Committee for the Gynecologic Cancer InterGroup (GCIG). He sits on several ANZGOG governance and trial-specific committees, as well as research-related committees within Australia and overseas, owing to his expertise in clinical trial conduct. John was an inaugural member of the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) Tele-Trials Advisory Committee that seeks to improve access to clinical trials for Australians who live in regional, remote, and rural communities. He is also the current Deputy Chair of the Australian Clinical Trials Alliance (ACTA) Research Managers Network Special Interest Group (SIGNet) and was the inaugural Chair of the Australian Cancer Cooperative Trials Group Research Managers Network. Outside of ANZGOG, he also sits on the Grant Advisory Panel for the Australian Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and contributes to their government advocacy and peer support programs.
