Sally is the Deputy Manager for Quality and Performance at the Parkville Cancer Clinical Trials Unit, located at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Victoria. Sally is an experienced oncology / haematology nurse including bone marrow transplant co-ordination and helped to establish the first transplant late effects clinic in Australia. Sally has worked in clinical trials for over ten years, with a focus on Gynaecology trials. Her current role in Quality and Performance focuses on both internal and external auditing and inspections. Her recent introduction of a risk-based Internal Audit Program for Investigator Initiated and Cooperative Group trials, is contributing to a developing Quality Management System within clinical trials.
